Just a students' residence, but a quite luxurious one compared to many others all over Europe: Newmanhaus on Adenauerallee.



It's located exactly between our beloved place of work and the city centre which makes it the ideal meeting point. From the outside, it does not look all too spectacular:


What makes it special are two things.

usually open from Mondays to Wednesdays, 21-1, and on Wednesdays only during the holidays. There you get exotic drinks as KiBa (a mix of cherry juice and banana nectar), a good Caipirinha whenever Cathrin works at the bar (she spent a year in Brazil what makes her a Caipirinha expert), and of course a decent Kölsch.
